Jenny Slate is apparently lined up to play Jean-Ralphio’s twin sister on a future episode of Parks & Rec. Awesome idea.
SPIN-OFF, PLEASE.Source: splitsider.com
Stephen Lea Sheppard (Harris Trinsky from “Freaks and Geeks”, Dudley Heinsbergen from “The Royal Tenenbaums”)
I’m half-way through “Freaks and Geeks” for the first time (!) and am as fascinated by these characters as Raleigh St. Clair is by Dudley. And this quote from this wonderful Macleans portrait of Sheppard gets to the bottom of “Freaks and Geeks” for me. Thinking the world is one way, and then finding out it’s different, and then spending the rest of your life negotiating between the two.
I knew a few Harrises in school. They’re rich, rich characters, those Harrises. Possibly the richest.
Holy Frak. Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome is here:

WASHINGTON—Saying they just need to relax after a ”grueling” nine months of watching television, Americans across the nation are reportedly using the summer to recuperate before they take on the demanding responsibility of 2012’s fall programming lineup.
The Onion nails my sad life yet again. Honestly, I do like having my TV responsibilities slashed to a few hours* a week during the summer. It gives me more time to devote to other lethargic, solitary pursuits. (Playing video games, reading books, scrapbooking about Christina Hendricks, etc.)
*Thankfully, I never feel compelled to follow the goings on of the Big Brother housemates online.
I finished three books last week. It was glorious. (But the best part of last week was when they announced NBC’s fall schedule…)Source:
