1/5. I leave for Atlanta today to see my parents and brother. It’s been 42 months since we’ve all been together and while I don’t think any of us regret the way we spent that time, I’m beyond excited for the moment when we’re all standing in the same place.
2/5. I used the extra money from today’s paycheck towards my credit card instead of buying these shoes. Adulthood, man.
3/5. Obligatory plug for my Firefly/Community blog if only because it makes me laugh so much while I’m making it and maybe it’ll make you laugh, too.
4/5. As of last night, I can now say that I’ve watched every current episode of Doctor Who. My goal was to finish before the new season started…talk about cutting it close.
5/5. What is it about Famous Amos cookies that make them SO GOOD? A co-worker gave me a free bag (score!) and they hit the spot in a remarkable way.
Funny pre-show stills from last night’s live Rifftrax riffing of Manos: The Hands of Fate. (Part 1)
“What the hell are you doing just sitting there?!?!”

You know, after making a bunch of these, it’s gotten to the point where Mal Reynolds might as well be Jeff Winger.

You guys! I made this blog for YOU. Yes, you. One Season and a Movie is a Firefly/Community mash-up blog, which I really can’t believe wasn’t a thing until now. Go forth, follow, and try not to let your cheerleading team leave you behind at a Taco Bell.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, today’s AVQ&A is all about the fictional characters we want to send red roses to. There’s a lot of great answers here, but I just feel like Firefly’s Kaylee Frye is the right one.
Awww, this is a great list. (Todd’s answer is amazing.)
