American Uncanny: Paintings by Andrew Wyeth.
Was reminded of the spookiness of Andrew’s paintings after visiting the Farnsworth Museum today in Rockland, Maine. Three generations of Wyeths — N.C., Andrew, and Jamie — were inspired by the Maine coast near Rockland and off of Monhegan Island.
Oh man, I love Andrew Wyeth.
